Window and partial window
Window
A window is a series of hours where:
- all your criteria are met,
- the day is part of your availability,
- the hours are within your time window,
- the duration reaches at least your minimum duration.
Partial window
A partial window follows the same rules, with a 15 % tolerance on numeric thresholds (wind, gusts, waves, temperatures). It contains at least one hour slightly outside your limits.
Example: with a maximum wind of 20 knots, an hour at 22 knots can be part of a partial window, not of a window.
The sky and directions have no tolerance.
Good to know
- If a value is missing from the forecast, the criterion concerned is considered not met.
- Hours are in the zone’s time zone.
