Terms of use
Last updated: 4 October 2026
This translation is provided for information only. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the GoMarine app and the gomarine.app website, published by the company identified in the legal notice. By creating an account, you accept them.
2. The service
GoMarine displays weather and marine forecasts for the zones you choose, compares them with your criteria and points out the time slots that match them. The service may change: features may be added, modified or removed.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 15 years old.
- The information you provide must be accurate.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential.
- You can delete your account at any time from the profile in the app (see the procedure).
4. Forecasts are for information only
Forecasts and outing windows are estimates calculated automatically from weather models. They may be inaccurate, incomplete or lag behind actual conditions.
GoMarine does not replace official weather bulletins (Météo-France, coastal and special bulletins), observation of conditions on site, or your own judgement. The decision to go out to sea and safety during the outing are your sole responsibility, in compliance with the regulations applicable to your activity.
5. Liability
The publisher uses reasonable means to ensure the operation of the service, without any guarantee of continuous availability or of data accuracy. It cannot be held liable for damage resulting from a decision made on the basis of information in the app, from a notification not received or received late, or from an interruption of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes the publisher's liability where the law prohibits it.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to disrupt the service, not to attempt to access other users' data and not to extract data from the app by automated means.
7. Price and advertising
The app is free and funded by advertising. If paid plans are offered, their prices and terms will be displayed before any purchase, which will be made through the App Store or Google Play.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its content and its brand belong to the company GoMarine. You have a personal, non-commercial right of use for the lifetime of your account.
9. Suspension and termination
In the event of a serious breach of these terms, the publisher may suspend or delete the account concerned, after notifying you, except in an emergency.
10. Changes to the terms
In the event of a significant change, you are informed in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you refuse the new terms, you can delete your account.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, please write to us first at support@gomarine.app. If you are a consumer, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge: [TO COMPLETE: name and website of the mediator]. Failing agreement, the courts of Marseille have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rules protecting consumers.
